Parloa AMP review

An enterprise platform for building, testing and running AI voice and chat agents in contact centers.

Verdict

Parloa suits large enterprises, especially in Europe, that want voice-first agents with simulation, approvals and regional data hosting in one platform 5,10,12. The catch is opacity: prices come only by quote, no policy on training with your data is published, and independent reviews are still few 2,9,22,23.

Good fit if you are

  • Large enterprises that want one platform to build, simulate and monitor voice agents
  • Companies that need customer data kept in a chosen region
  • Contact centers on Genesys, Five9, Amazon Connect or SAP

Look elsewhere if you are

  • Small teams that want self-serve sign-up and public prices
  • Buyers who need a published policy on training with their data
  • Teams that want to try the product before talking to sales

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Performance Lab simulates conversations across every intent, tool call and handoff before go-live, and runs A/B tests of two agent configurations 5.
  • Parloa Lens replays any conversation, scores tone, compliance and sentiment, and flags PII leaks and hallucinations as they happen 6.
  • Names, account numbers and personal details are redacted in real time, and card data goes to a separate process outside the language model 8.
  • Agents speak 140+ languages, and customers can switch from typing to talking in the same chat without losing context 7.
  • SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022, with Parloa Zones keeping customer data in the region you choose 9,12.

What to watch

  • No prices are published; rates depend on each use case's complexity and a volume commitment 2.
  • No policy on training with customer data is published, and model providers are not named 9,11.
  • HIPAA is listed among its certifications, but no BAA is published 10.
  • A critical Gartner Peer Insights review says AMP was less mature than expected and could not be used together with Parloa's older rules-based builder 23.

What Parloa AMP is

Parloa is a Berlin company whose AI Agent Management Platform (AMP) lets contact center teams design, test, run and improve AI agents 3,21. It started with phone calls and stays voice-first, and its agents also run in a chat widget 7,21. AMP connects to contact center platforms such as Genesys, Five9 and Amazon Connect and to CRMs such as Salesforce and SAP 13.

Parloa raised a $350 million Series D led by General Catalyst in January 2026 at a $3 billion valuation, eight months after a $120 million round at $1 billion 20. Total funding passed $560 million 19,21. Named customers include Allianz, Booking.com, HealthEquity, SAP, Sedgwick and Swiss Life 20.

What it can do

Teams build agents in Agent Builder without code, or let Navigator draft them from plain-language guidance and existing SOPs 4. Agent Skills built on MCP connect agents to enterprise systems once and make them available to every agent 4. Calls arrive over SIP from telephony, contact center platforms or WebRTC, and agents speak 140+ languages 7. Outbound agents work through renewal, win-back and collections lists drawn from CRM data 15,16.

Before launch, Performance Lab simulates conversations across every intent, tool call and handoff, and can run two agent configurations against the same tests 5. Navigator suggests fixes, tests them in simulated conversations and applies them only with your approval 5. Parloa says AMP covers versioning, approvals, deployments and audit trails, and that you set the triggers for passing a caller to a person with full context 10. In production, Parloa Lens scores every conversation for tone, compliance and sentiment and flags PII leaks and hallucinations 6.

  • Actions. Agent Skills built on MCP connect agents to enterprise systems, and Parloa offers APIs for custom actions 4,13. Outbound agents run renewal, win-back and collections calls from CRM data and sync promises to pay back to CRM and receivables systems 15,16.
  • Setup. Teams build agents without code in Agent Builder, and Navigator drafts agents from plain-language guidance or uploaded SOPs 4; agents connect over SIP to telephony, contact center platforms, PBX systems and WebRTC 7.
  • Transfer to people. You set the escalation triggers, and the agent passes full context, including intents, history and data, to a person 10; calls can route to specialist queues, licensed agents or skills-based overflow 14.
  • Analytics. Parloa Lens tracks AHT, latency and accuracy in real time, scores every conversation and fires alerts linked to the conversation 6; Data Hub exports PII-redacted data to BI tools 10.

Pricing

Parloa publishes no prices. Voice is billed per minute and chat per interaction, at rates that reflect each use case's complexity 2. Customers buy a volume package that covers all their use cases, and outcome-based pricing is possible 2. Parloa models costs from your contact center data before quoting a custom plan with defined rates and commitments 2. With no public rate, the cost of 1,000 minutes cannot be worked out.

Security and data

Parloa's trust center lists ISO 27001:2022, SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 reports, a PCI DSS attestation and HIPAA documents, and names Google, Twilio, Datadog, MongoDB and Microsoft as subprocessors 9. The platform runs on Microsoft Azure 11, and Parloa Zones keep transcripts, PII, logs and analytics in the region you choose 12. Names, account numbers and personal details are redacted in real time, card data goes to a separate process outside the language model, and retention can be configured 8. Parloa publishes no policy on whether customer data trains models and does not name its model providers 9,11.

  • HIPAA. HIPAA listed among certifications, with a HIPAA report on the trust center; no BAA published 9,10
  • Data residency. Parloa Zones keep transcripts, PII, logs and analytics in the chosen region; hosted on Azure, with regions in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific 11,12
